About The Patriots
The Patriots are a Boys U14 (Fall 2011) competitive soccer team that was founded in 2005 by Mark Lucero. Coach Mark turned the reigns over to Coach John Little beginning with the 2009/2010 soccer year. Coach John is assisted by Rocky Browne and Joe Richardson. They coach the fundamentals of soccer which include ball control, skills, passing with a purpose, knowing your options with the ball and anticipating instead of reacting. All coaches are licensed and together provide an excellent environment for our Patriots family. In the Spring of 2011 the team became a part of the Ray-Pec Elite Program. During the season we now benefit from the assistance of a trainer once a week to further develop as players and as a team.
The Patriots compete in the KC Metro League as part of the Ray Pec Elite Program. The team challenges its members to be the best they can be on and off the field. We teach the fundamentals of soccer in an encouraging environment that fosters good sportsmanship, friendship among the players and families and a love for the game of soccer!
